Voussoir Heads
We provide an extensive range of brick faced -pre-fabricated arches and voussoirs in many sizes and styles. They are easy to use and offer a genuine alternative to traditional loose arches. Cut to shape from standard bricks, the slips are then bonded to pre-manufactured arches which are available in either structural or lightweight options.
All arches are made and supplied with open joints or a pre-pointed option can be requested. This ensures when they are installed and pointed on site there is consistent colouring and no mortar shade deviations.
Voussoir Heads and Arches
Structural arches Supplied as standard sizes or as bespoke designs, our arches are manufactured using concrete and steel making them fully load bearing and removing the need for secondary lintels. All arches are made and supplied with clean joints. this quick and easy method not only reduces material wasteage but can dramatically cut production time, this saving money. Lightweight Arches This option represents a more cost effective solution to using arches as decorative features. Available in both standard and bespoke format, these can be used in conjunction with a hidden lintel to offer strength and support.

We only use Metofix CB-A2 Cut and Bond Fire Rating
The latest fire rated adhesive for use in the decorative brick industry, is Metofix CB-A2 which is designed primarily for the cutting and bonding of all types of installation above 18m height. At Direct Brick and Stone we only use Metofix CB-A2 in all cut and bonds and voussior heads.
